Campo Santi Apostoli, Venice

Campo Santi Apostoli, Venezia

Campo Santi Apostoli in Venice is a wonderful place to watch the world go by: gondolas and gondoliers, tourists and locals, swallows swooping around the bell-tower, all bathed in Italian sunshine.

Just minutes from the Rialto, it’s easy to get lost in Venice and stumble across this magnificent square. Julie has frequently stayed in this area of Venice and loves sketching along the canals. Each painting tells a story: hiding in the background you can find old maps and local literature beneath the layers of paint.

The original painting Campo Santi Apostoli in Venice is now SOLD (£1400) but we have limited edition prints available. These can be ordered in various sizes, framed or unframed from £100. (The current limited edition print in the gallery is framed in oak, measuring 27 x 22″ £425.)

Visit the gallery or contact us to reserve, order or enquire about limited editions and our other paintings of Venice.

Julie has been a regular visitor to Italy since the mid-1960s, when her father took the family camping for a month every summer. These early trips inspired her life-long love of Italy, art and architecture.
