Julie has been commissioned by many international publishers, illustrating countless bookjackets for authors ranging from Noel Streatfield, Jamila Gavin, Enid Blyton & James Herriot.
She is also the author & illustrator of children’s picture books published by the prestigious Andersen Press in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, South Korea, Canada and Australia.

Since graduating in 1983 Julie has painted bespoke commissions for corporate clients worldwide, including The Post Office, Royal Life Insurance, British Telecom, ICI, The NHS, Singapore Airlines and Teachers Whisky.

You’ve probably seen Julie’s illustrations in your supermarket. Julie Colclough’s painting commissions include packaging illustrations for a huge range of ice creams, cereals, sweets, fruit & teabags for various well-known brands and supermarkets.

After graduating in illustration, Julie began her career as a freelance artist illustrating many books and magazine articles for clients such as The Sunday Times and What Car.
