Chester Eastgate Clock

Eastgate Clock, Chester

Walking the Walls

The famous Chester Eastgate clock painted by Julie Colclough. Viewed from the city walls, this iconic scene is said to be the second most photographed clock in the world, after Big Ben. We think it’s rather good as a painting too, so much so that Julie has painted it from several angles in different seasons (in both sun and snow).

The original painting is sold but we stock superb signed giclee prints, framed and unframed.

We also stock other paintings of the clock and nearby views from the city walls such as Chester cathedral and River Dee.

  • Mounted prints from £75
  • Framed prints £100 – £250

All our fine art prints are of the highest quality and use the best archival ink printing methods in the industry.

Visit the gallery or contact us to reserve, order or enquire.

From the clock, walk past the Grosvenor Hotel towards The Cross and straight ahead onto Watergate Street. You will find our gallery up on Watergate Row on the left hand side, just past Bishop Lloyds Palace. History and inspiration on our door step.
