Julie has been visiting since childhood, and continued the tradition by taking her own children to build sandcastles on the beach.
Some of Julie’s earliest drawings and paintings were inspired by North Wales. During a week at the Menai Centre on a school art trip, Julie Colclough decided she wanted to be a full time artist. She soon achieved her ambition, and after 40 years of painting professionally, still loves sketching in North Wales.
