This spectacular location on Llyn Padern makes a perfect picnic and sketching spot and is somewhere we will return to again and again.
Some of Julie’s earliest drawings and paintings were inspired by North Wales. During a week at the Menai Centre on a school art trip, Julie Colclough decided she wanted to be a full time artist. After four years at art school she achieved her ambition and became a successful illustrator working for clients worldwide. After 40 years of painting professionally, she still loves sketching in North Wales.
