Alhambra
This large original painting of the Alhambra in Granada is inspired by Julie’s Andalusia sketchbooks. She loved sketching the Alhambra from different viewpoints, and particularly loved the many tiles which are so typical of this region. Her sketches of the external architecture and the beautiful tiles of the interior evolved into this stunning large painting, completed in our Chester studio on The Rows. Pop in to the gallery to see the finished painting which certainly makes a statement.
